From this morning's RAMP Newsletter. Merlin Media (new owner of the Loop and Q-101) has made another hire...
Jerry Rohira has been snapped up by Merlin as VP of Production. It's a festive occasion that gives Merlin's new COO Walter Sabo a chance to make his first official COO-type comment: "Jerry will be responsible for creating the highest level of innovative production that exists in American media," Sabo remarked. "The overall sound, philosophy and imagery of Merlin stations in all formats will benefit from his soundscapes." Rohira most recently spent seven years as Creative Director at Sirius XM, where he was involved in the satellite launch of The Howard Stern Show and served as the show's Creative Services Director for its first year on the air.
