William and Kate move into a 'modest' Kensington Palace flat

By REBECCA ENGLISH

Will the Prince carry Kate over the threshold? The Royal couple finally move in to their starter home

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have finally moved into Kensington Palace, their first official royal residence as a married couple.

They have chosen to embark on married life in a ‘modest’ apartment in the palace where William once lived with his late mother.

Although their home boasts one of the most exclusive postcodes in the country, it is a fraction of the size of the five-bedroom, five-reception-room suite occupied by new neighbours, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Home sweet home: Kensington Palace, where the couple have moved into an apartment

And when the couple got the builders in to add a few basic mod-cons, they discovered the place was riddled with asbestos and had wiring so archaic that it was considered too dangerous to inhabit.

Until now, William and Kate have used the Clarence House apartment that the prince shared with his brother, Prince Harry, when in London.

But senior royal sources confirmed the Cambridges had moved all their furniture into the renovated Palace apartment and stayed there for a couple of nights last week.

'We're not breaking up': Katy Perry and Russell Brand deny separation

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

We're fine: Katy Perry has slammed recent reports which claim that she and husband Russell Brand were considering a trial separation, here the couple are seen last month

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have endured countless break-up rumours since they tied the knot in October last year.

And whispers of a split have increased in recent months because the piar have spent more and more time apart due to their busy schedules.

But after a recent report claiming the couple were trying a trial separation, Katy has hit out, insisting that her marriage of just eight months is just fine.

Keeping busy: Russell seen leaving the gym with his trainer sipping on a drink from Earth Bar in West Hollywood today

The 26-year-old, who married the 36-year-old actor in a ceremony in India in October last year, said that just because the couple kept their relationship private, it didn't mean there was trouble in paradise.

Taking to her Twitter page to put the rumours to rest, she wrote: 'Just cause we don't flaunt our relationship doesn't mean there's something wrong w/it. Privacy is our luxury. #tabloidsrtrash #gossipisgross.'

Brand later supported his wife and wrote a message on his own Twitter page.

Denial: Katy took to her Twitter page to put break-up rumours to rest

He wrote, referring to the current phone hacking scandal surrounding former tabloid newspaper, News Of The World: 'You tell em Mrs Brand! In Britain we're currently dismantling the scum media so I'm not tuned in to their brain-farting.'

The couple's statements come as it was claimed earlier this month that the pair were considering a trial separation in a bid to keep their relationship on the right track.

A source told Heat magazine that Katy had confided: 'We're thinking of taking a break from our marriage. I'm worried it could be the end of the road for us.'

'Here, here honey': Brand later supported his wife and wrote a message on his own Twitter page

Trust: Katy says she trusts Brand 'implicitly'

Girls, Uninterrupted: Angelina Jolie beams with delight as her daughters Shiloh and Zahara skip along during a shopping trip

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Playful: Angelina Jolie takes her girls Shiloh and Zahara shopping in LA

Who needs the boys? From the beams on their faces, Angelina Jolie and daughters Shiloh and Zahara weren't missing the men in their lives much.

The Tomb Raider actress smiled as her two girls skipped playfully in the street during a shopping trip in sunny LA.

Little Vivienne was the only female of the Jolie-Pitt clan missing, but it was a testosterone-free day without Brad, Maddox, Pax or Knox.

Little early for Halloween? Scruffy Shiloh carries a devil fork and cuddly toys

Dressed in her trademark favourite colour black, Angelina wore a loose sweatshirt and resembled any ordinary mother with her hair scraped back and carrying the shopping bags.

The trio visited vintage clothing and costume shop Ozzie Dots, with Shiloh holding a devil fork - despite it being a little early for Halloween.

Giggling: Little Zahara sticks her tongue out as she plays with her sister

While six-year-old Zahara dashed around in jeans and a girly vest top, her younger sister was dressed in her typical tomboy attire.

The blonde five-year-old wore baggy shorts and a shirt to match, sporting some bruises or dirt on her legs.

High spirits: Angelina carried shopping bags as her daughters entertained her

The 36-year-old is thrilled with how easily she has taken to motherhood.

Angelina said: 'It’s been one of the great surprises of my life.

'When I was younger I never imagined being a mother and then those maternal feelings really evolved and deepened once I began adopting and started living with Brad, which made me want to have children of our own.

'I feel truly at ease when I know I’ve helped give them a safe and hopeful life.

'A big family can generate a lot of chaos, but it’s also a source of inner peace - the best feeling in the world.

'I’m much less anxious about life and so much more light-hearted and carefree.'

Bonding: The girls can't stop smiling during a day trip without the boys

'Give ME the epidural!' Orlando Bloom struggled to deal with seeing me in pain during labour, reveals Miranda Kerr

By ANDREA MAGRATH

Painful for some: Miranda Kerr has revealed that her husband Orlando Bloom asked if he could get an epidural during the birth of their son Flynn

For many soon-to-be fathers, watching their partners go through labour and feeling helpless is tormenting.

Miranda Kerr has revealed that her husband Orlando Bloom came up with a novel way for him to be able to deal with seeing her in so much pain during the birth of their baby Flynn.

As his wife had refused drugs, the actor suggested that he could perhaps have an epidural instead.

Big baby: Miranda says she didn't expect Flynn, who weighed in at over 10lbs, to be such a big baby and admits she was 'crazy' to go without an epidural

In a revealing interview with Australian television program Sunday Night, the supermodel discussed her previously revealed stance on having a natural birth.

'I had made the decision to not have any drugs, no epidural, nothing,' the 28-year-old said.

'Each to their own. I'm crazy for doing that! A lot of my friends who have had epidurals have said, "Oh (labour) was so great".'

Give me the drugs! The supermodel reveals that husband Orlando joked that he should be allowed to have the epidural as it pained him to see Miranda in turmoil

Asked if her resolve wavered at any point during the labour, she admitted: 'I remember looking at Orlando and saying "Oh honey."'

'And he said, "Give me the epidural! Seriously, if you don't want it I'll take it because right now I'm dying watching you go through this pain".'

'I didn't realise (Flynn) was going to be such a big baby.'

Not love at first sight: Miranda says it was Orlando's 'persistence' that finally won her over, and that she was reluctant to date a movie star

Miranda also revealed that it was not love at first sight when she met Orlando, 34.
'I think it was his persistence,' she said. 'Maybe he wanted me because he thought he couldn't have me.'

Asked if his movie star status put him off, she admitted: 'I was reluctant - not about him, but the idea of that (him being a movie star).'

It was during the Sunday Night interview that Miranda revealed the tragic inspiration behind Flynn's middle name.

Growing brood? She says she 'always thought I'd have three children,' but wants to focus on Flynn for now

Close to tears, the Australian model as she discussed her teenage boyfriend Christopher, who died in a car accident shortly after Miranda moved to Brisbane from their country town of Gunnedah.

Miranda said: 'He was my first love. We were young and we talked about everything; having kids and getting married.

'He died so instantly. It was quite a shock.

'I wrote him a letter after he died, saying I would name my first child after him and that is what I have done. 'Orlando was very kind and understanding. He said if you want, you can do that.'

Tribute: Miranda named Flynn after him, giving the baby Christopher as a middle name

She said she thought Christopher would be proud of her if he were still alive.
Right now, Miranda rates her life as: 'ten-out-of-ten happy.'

As to having more children, Miranda said: 'I always thought I would have three. Right now I'm just trying to enjoy Flynn.

'They say the first three years are the most important, so I want to make sure that he gets the attention and the nurturing and love that he really needs. so we'll see what happens.

Reunion: The program surprised Miranda by flying her grandparents out to LA to meet Flynn for the first time

Severe illness: Robbie Williams has been laid up in bed on a drip after a bout of food poisoning

Robbie Williams has been forced to apologise to fans after a serious bout of food poisoning meant he had to cancel an appearance in Denmark.

The Take That star posted a picture from his sickbed where he is on a drip after losing a large amount of fluid.

Robbie and the rest of the manband had been due to play the second of two dates at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, but pulled out after he was struck down with severe food poisoning.

Cancelled: Take That had to halt their show in Copenhagen due to Robbie's illness

Posting the photo, the 37-year-old said: 'Hey folks. Thank you for your messages and love. I'm not completely out of the woods yet but feeling much better.

According to reports, his illness was caused by eating grilled Danish black lobster with lobster salad and saffron aioli.

A source told The Sun newspaper said: 'It hasn't been pretty. It's all down to a dodgy lobster he ate at a hotel.

'Jason and Mark wanted to go ahead and do it without him, so as not to let down the fans. But there was something to do with the insurance that stopped them.'

Watch me dad! While Victoria rests at home with daughter Harper, snap-happy David Beckham captures Brooklyn on the waves

By LAURA SCHREFFLER

Kodak moment: David Beckham captures his oldest son Brooklyn on the waves in Malibu

David Beckham's new motto: while the women are away, the men shall play.

The soccer star and 12-year-old son Brooklyn frolicked in the sparkling blue waters of the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California, today.

David acted as the photographer as he snapped his oldest son catching some waves.

Family photographer: The football star is often seen capturing his playful sons on camera

Friends: Eva Longoria (second right)dropped by the Beckham's beach house to welcome new baby Harper

Wife Victoria rested at home with daughter Harper Seven, who was born just over a week ago on 10 July.

David and his oldest son surfed and boogey-boarded the day away, pausing to take a break when pal Eva Longoria came down to the beach for a visit.

Thankfully the L.A. Galaxy midfielder has three sons to play around with (Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6, aren't pictured), given that he said this week he's learning to be more 'delicate' with his newborn daughter.

Watch the goods! David jumps a wave to prevent his expensive camera from getting wet

Boys day out: David Beckham and 12-year-old son Brooklyn spent a day surfing and boogey-boarding in Malibu, California today

'Having a daughter is a whole new thing... you have to be a lot more delicate with girls than with boys and I'm not used to that.

'So it's a whole new experience but it's an amazing experience,' he said in a video post on his Facebook page.

Hot bod: The football stud shows off one of the many reasons Victoria loves him while splashing through the waters of Malibu

Surfer boys: David and Brooklyn take to the waves

He's clearly smitten with the first female child in his family, and couldn't resist taking an intimate photograph of his wife and daughter as they slept.

But David is clearly smitten with her little girl and couldn't resist taking an intimate snap of Victoria and their baby daughter as they slept.

He also posted the touching picture on Facebook, gushing, 'I took this picture of my two girls sleeping...'

Cool riders: The father and son catch a wave in together

His fashion designer wife posted a similar snap on her Twitter page with the caption, 'Daddy's little girl!'

A similar picture was posted by Victoria on Twitter and the footballer couldn't look any more tender as he cradles his daughter.

All covered up: Becks put on clothes and a hat to welcome pal Eva Longoria (not pictured) to the house

In the shot, David is shown giving an eskimo kiss to his little girl, who is wrapped up in a blanket and wearing a tiny hat.

If more proof is needed that he's besotted, he's also had her name stitched on to his pink football boots; pink to honour his 'girl', of course.
